Program Agreement
By applying to and joining the Michigan Business Initiative, you agree to these terms of service. The MBI program is a monthly service that includes website development, hosting, business email, creative assets, and ongoing support.
Monthly Billing
The MBI program is billed at $249 per month. Billing begins upon acceptance into the program. There are no setup fees. A minimum three month commitment is required. After the initial commitment, you may cancel with 30 days notice.
Services Provided
MBI provides professional website development, web hosting, business email setup, monthly creative assets, and ongoing support as described on the program page. Specific deliverables are discussed and agreed upon during onboarding.
Content Ownership
All original content created for your business, including text, images, and design elements, remains your property. You retain full ownership of your business content at all times.
Cancellation
A minimum three month commitment is required. After the initial commitment period, you may cancel with 30 days written notice. Upon cancellation, services will continue through the end of your current billing period. Website hosting will remain active for 30 days after cancellation to allow for transition.
Limitation of Liability
The Michigan Business Initiative and CreataCo are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the preceding 12 months.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when we add services, adjust billing mechanics, or comply with legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will post the revised terms on this page with an updated date and, when appropriate, notify active customers by email. Continued use of the program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you disagree with an update, you may cancel according to the cancellation section above.
